Growth Begins Where Perspectives Meet
What happens when people from different worlds come together with a shared ambition to grow?
This spring, the Center for Sports and Business held the third edition of the Next Step introductory course. Over two intensive days, participants from the Swedish Armed Forces and elite sports came together to share experiences, challenge perspectives, and learn from one another.
We explored motivation, values, and competence - both the kind that appears on a CV and the kind that is built through experience. Our discussions also focused on taking ownership of your own development, having the courage to step outside your comfort zone, and being clear about who you are and what you want to achieve.
The first day concluded with a well-received networking reception, where SEB Chief Economist Jens Magnusson offered fresh perspectives on the economy and the global landscape. Elisabeth Egnell also shared insights from the pilot project connecting elite sports and the Swedish Armed Forces, which she leads through the Swedish Olympic Academy (SOA).
A big thank you to all participants, speakers, and guests for two inspiring days. It is through the exchange of different perspectives that new ideas, relationships, and opportunities emerge.
