Campus

The main building on Sveavägen, opened in 1925, is the center of student life and academic activity. It houses lecture halls, study areas, the SSE Library, and common spaces for students and faculty. Over time, the campus has expanded with nearby annex buildings on Saltmätargatan, Holländargatan and Norrtullsgatan that provide additional classrooms, offices, and study spaces within walking distance.

Saltmätargatan is home to the Center for Retailing, the BSc students in Retail Management, and several Professional Services departments.

The House of Innovation is located on Norrtullsgatan, close to the main campus, and focuses on research, education, and collaboration in areas such as entrepreneurship, digitalization, and innovation. It serves as a meeting place for researchers, students, and external partners working on new ideas and developments.

The campus is compact and walkable, with all main buildings located within a few minutes of each other. A typical day moves between lectures, group work, and independent study, with students using different buildings and spaces throughout the day. This proximity supports both academic work and interaction between students, faculty, and partners.

Located in central Stockholm, the campus is integrated into the city’s academic, business, and cultural environment. Proximity to companies, public institutions, and partner organizations enables guest lectures, projects, and collaboration as part of everyday studies. This connection to the surrounding city is an integral part of the learning experience at SSE.

Campus Kämpasten, SSE’s conference and meeting center in Sigtuna, complements the Stockholm campus. It is used for executive education, conferences, and academic gatherings, providing an environment for focused work, discussion, and collaboration.
