Stockholm Centre for Organizational Research
Score is a multidisciplinary research center with a mission to initiate, conduct, and disseminate research on the organization of modern society. The center is jointly organized by Stockholm School of Economics and Stockholm University.
What brings researchers at Score together is a shared interest in and commitment to advancing knowledge about how society is organized, with a particular focus on the role of public organizations in societal development.
Score’s research on public organization and management is focused on a set of broad and basic themes. The themes are pursued through large and small projects, largely financed by external bodies like The Swedish Research Council (VR), The Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Fund (RJ), Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser, The Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research (FAS), The Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning (Formas), and others.
