The Department of Marketing and Strategy focuses on how markets function and how organizations create and sustain value over time. Through research and education, the department addresses key questions in marketing and strategy in contemporary market-based societies.

Research and education

The department conducts research in areas related to marketing and strategy, including how supply and demand are connected and how organizations define and develop their long-term direction. Faculty publish in leading international journals and engage with companies and organizations to ensure relevance and impact.

Teaching is integrated across SSE’s programs and is designed to develop analytical, reflective, and responsible decision-makers. Courses combine theoretical perspectives with practical application and encourage students to understand complex relationships in markets and organizations.
