Academic organization
Research and education at SSE are organized within academic departments covering areas such as economics, finance, and business administration. These departments form the core of the School’s academic work and bring together faculty, researchers, and students within their respective disciplines.
In parallel, interdisciplinary environments such as research centers, institutes, and research houses create opportunities to address complex questions that span multiple fields. These environments support collaboration across disciplines and strengthen connections with business, policy, and society.
Professional services
Professional Services units support the School’s core activities and ensure that education and research can be carried out effectively. These units are responsible for areas such as education administration, external relations, human resources, IT, facilities, and the library.
Working closely with faculty and students, Professional Services contribute to the overall functioning of the School and the development of a well-structured and supportive academic environment.
Collaboration and network
SSE has an extensive network of corporate partners, alumni, and academic institutions. These relationships are an integral part of the School’s model and contribute to the relevance and impact of both research and education.
Through collaboration with companies, organizations, and partner universities, SSE creates opportunities for exchange, joint initiatives, and real-world engagement—strengthening both the academic environment and students’ connection to professional life.
