About the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness

CWWH, based at the Stockholm School of Economics, is a world-leading center dedicated to research, education, and thought leadership on wellbeing, welfare, and happiness. Led by Professor Micael Dahlen, the world’s first professor in wellbeing, welfare, and happiness, CWWH connects a global network of researchers. Integrated across SSE, it shapes education at all levels.

Education

The Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness provides education at the Stockholm School of Economics. Education is available at all educational levels, including BSc,MSc, PhD. The center also organizes a national thesis award.

Nordic Happiness Summit

Nordic Happiness Summit is a non-profit annual event dedicated to promoting happiness and wellbeing through science, knowledge sharing and community. The summit is organized by the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare & Happiness at Stockholm School of Economics, in collaboration with Hanken Business Lab at Hanken School of Economics. Happiness Impact Ranking

How much do Sweden’s largest companies contribute to people’s happiness and wellbeing? CWWH researchers have scientifically measured how much and in what way major companies and brands impact people’s happiness and wellbeing on a national scale. More than 6,000 individuals across Sweden have been surveyed. The ranking is made annually and presented in a detailed report.
