Double degree with Sciences Po (School of Management and Impact)
SSE has partnered with Sciences Po, one of the world’s leading universities in the social sciences, to offer a double degree with a focus on business, management, innovation, and sustainability at the Master level.
Discontinuation of the double degree arrangement from the 2027 intake
Please note that the double degree arrangement with the Sciences Po School of Management and Impact will no longer be offered from the 2027 intake. The double degree arrangement with the Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs will continue as usual.
Double degree with Sciences Po
SSE and the Sciences Po - School of Management and Impact offer a double degree opportunity for students interested in business, management, innovation, and sustainability.
The program combines the strengths of two leading institutions and provides students with an international perspective on management, entrepreneurship, business development, and organizational change. Graduates are well prepared for careers in consulting, management, entrepreneurship, and related fields.
The double degree spans two academic years. Students spend their first year at Sciences Po in Paris and their second year at SSE in Stockholm.
Throughout the program, students are expected to meet the academic requirements of both institutions and complete all courses at the same standard as regularly enrolled students.
Program structure
Year 1 - Studies at Sciences Po (School of Management and Impact)
Students enroll in the Master in International Business and Sustainability
The first year consists of:
- Semester 1: Coursework
- Semester 2: Coursework
Year 2 – Studies at SSE
Students enroll in the Master in Business Innovation
The second year consists of:
- Semester 1: Mandatory courses from year 1
- Semester 2: MSc thesis (30 ECTS) from year 2
Degrees awarded
Upon successful completion of the program, students receive two degrees:
- A Master degree from Sciences Po
- A Master of Science degree from SSE

How to apply
Applications are submitted through Sciences Po’s application platform. Applicants apply simultaneously to both the Sciences Po program and the corresponding MSc program at SSE.
