Students take part in CFR Advisory Board roundtable
All 170 students in the Retail Management program participated in the Center for Retailing Advisory Board Roundtable.
In this session, representatives from SSE’s CFR Advisory Board generously shared their outlook on retail – ranging from macro-economic conditions and geopolitical challenges, to corporate strategies to cope with changing consumer demands and competitive pressures.
Students were encouraged to stay curious and contribute to shaping the future by challenging retail companies to rethink how value can be created in new ways through the use of AI. The speakers also emphasized that students should train their social and collaborative skills as they will remain important.
The recommendations align with the SSE values and educational mission FREE, which is central to the design of the Retail Management program, especially its flagship course the Applied Retail Track and Antonia Ax:son Johnson Tutorial Program.
