Retail Management students in Axel Johnson Retail Club visited the Novax Head Office in central Stockholm for a workshop on innovation and investment.

Ida Linderbrandt, Investment Manager, and Carl Dalerstedt, Investment Associate, gave a presentation on Novax and their approach to investing in companies.

Students then worked on a case study involving Volta Greentech, a company dedicated to reducing methane emissions through its innovative product. The challenge was how to sell the solution in a value chain where all stakeholders recognized its benefits but were reluctant to bear the cost. Among the proposed strategies, students suggested lobbying for the introduction of a new ecolabel and targeting B2B partners looking to offset their emissions.

A big thank you Ida and Carl for a very insightful workshop! Also many thanks to Emma Ekenstedt, Project Manager People & Culture at Axel Johnson, for helping arrange the workshop.
