Anna Dreber awarded for lifelong contributions to meta-science
Professor Anna Dreber was recently awarded The Founders' Medal for Lifelong Contributions to Meta-Science by the Meta-Analysis of Economic Research Network community in recognition of her exceptional and sustained contributions to advancing the field of meta-science.
Dreber has led large-scale replication projects in experimental economics and the social sciences which have produced some of the most direct evidence on how reliable published findings are. She also pioneered the use of prediction markets and forecasting surveys to show that researchers can anticipate which results will replicate, and her "many labs" and multi-analyst studies have revealed how strongly conclusions depend on analytical and design choices.
