Andreea Enache has been granted tenure and promoted to Associate Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics. The promotion recognizes her valuable contributions to research, teaching, and her academic service.
Since joining the Department of Economics in 2018, Enache has been contributing to research and teaching in industrial organization and econometrics. She researches diverse topics including industrial organization, auctions, health economics, digital economics, and cultural economics. Her work has appeared in journals including the Journal of Econometrics, Management Science, and the Journal of Applied Econometrics.
The Head of Department, Johanna Wallenius, said:
“Andreea has been a valued and engaged member of our academic community. Her promotion also marks an important next step in her role within the Department and at SSE, and we look forward to her growing contribution to academic leadership and program development, including as Program Director of M.Sc. in economics.”
At SSE, Enache is affiliated with the Karl-Adam Bonnier Center for Governance, the House of Governance and Public Policy, and the Center for Resilient Health. Before joining SSE, Enache held positions at Bocconi University-IGIER, the European University Institute, and the University of Chicago. She received her PhD from the Paris School of Economics.
