We are pleased to announce that the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) will host the next SITE Development Day in 2026. This annual event serves as one of SITE’s key forums for examining critical issues related to economic development, institutional change, and the policy challenges facing emerging and transitioning economies.
SITE Development Day 2026 will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and representatives from international organizations to discuss new empirical insights, evolving development paradigms, and region-specific dynamics across Eastern Europe, the Baltics, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia. The event is designed to support constructive dialogue and knowledge exchange on the factors that drive sustainable and inclusive development.
