How we produce, distribute, consume, and waste food has far-reaching environmental consequences. As the global population continues to grow and climate challenges intensify, our food systems must become more resilient and resource-efficient while reducing their environmental impact. Bringing together perspectives from academia, venture capital, and the startup ecosystem, the session examines how innovation, investment, and collaboration can help transform the future of food to meet the demands of a growing global population while balancing environmental, economic, and societal priorities.
Dialogues on Digital 2026: The Future of Food
The 2026 edition of Dialogues on Digital explores the future of food and how innovation, investment, and collaboration can help build healthier and more resilient food systems. Join us at the Stockholm School of Economics on Oct. 9 for conversations that bring together perspectives from business, academia, and entrepreneurship.
How can we feed a growing population within planetary boundaries, prepare food systems for an uncertain world, and use innovation to improve health?
Dialogues on Digital 2026 brings together leaders and experts from across sectors to examine these interconnected challenges and the ideas, technologies, and collaborations shaping the future of food. Across three sessions, our speakers will explore the future of food from the perspectives of sustainability, resilience, and health.
But the conversation will not stop at the stage. This year’s conference also invites participants to continue the conversation while exploring, tasting, and discussing emerging food innovations at our Future Food Fair, arranged in collaboration with Sweden Foodtech.

How can we feed a growing world without compromising our planet?
How do we prepare our food systems for an uncertain world?
Climate change, geopolitical conflict, pandemics, and supply chain disruptions are increasingly affecting how food is produced, distributed, and accessed around the world. As uncertainty grows, ensuring continued access to safe, nutritious, and affordable food requires food systems that can anticipate, withstand, and respond to crises. Focusing on the role of major food and beverage companies, the discussion explores how these organizations can support society's preparedness and contribute to resilient food systems in times of disruption.
How can we use innovation to redefine the future of food and health?
What we eat is one of the strongest determinants of how long and how well we live. Diet-related conditions such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease are increasing worldwide, placing growing pressure on healthcare systems and blurring the traditional boundaries between food, nutrition, and medicine. Bringing together perspectives from the food industry, pharmaceutical innovation, and research, this session explores how these sectors can work together to make nutritious choices more accessible and shape a future of food that supports both individual well-being and public health.
