SSE Ventures

SSE Ventures is the early-stage venture capital fund of SSE Business Lab and the Stockholm School of Economics.

All teams accepted into Incubate will be offered investment from SSE Business Lab’s VC fund, SSE Ventures. The offer consists of a 300.000 SEK convertible note, which then converts at your next equity round at whichever valuation is determined by the company and its other investors in that round (based on the terms in the agreement).

SSE Ventures will not be determining a valuation of your company at any point. SSE Venture’s ambition is to be a long-term owner, which means we aim to continue being a shareholder in our portfolio companies even after they have left the Incubate program.

Your company would have the possibility to receive follow-on investments from SSE Ventures beyond the 300.000 SEK convertible note, both during and after the Incubate program.

Every company admitted into Incubate will be offered a convertible note from SSE Ventures, but has the right to turn the offer down.
