LSE becomes the eighth full member of CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences

On 16 June 2020, the European Commission updated the status of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from “associated partner” to “full member” of CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences, following a request submitted by the alliance.

For the tenth consecutive year the Global Swede Award ceremony was arranged by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in collaboration with Swedish Institute, SI. It was the first digitally arranged ceremony. Quyen Nguyen, currently a master student at the Business and Management program of Stockholm School of Economics, was one of 19 students to be awarded.

South Africa new choice of destination for CEMS MIM students

The University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, UCT GSB, in South Africa is the first business school in sub-Saharan Africa to join CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education. The one-year master’s program opens registrations in May 2020, for its first intake in September 2021.

This according to the Financial Times, who recently published its annual best business-school ranking. Globally, SSE Executive Education comes in at number 19.

Take-home exam challenges students to hack the corona crisis

Just a few weeks before the exam of the course Global Challenges was to take place, the new Corona virus spread quickly around the globe and brought with it a sudden global economic downturn. The exam had to be adapted to a take-home exam and this generated new and innovative results.
