  • Before the program starts

    Welcome

    You will receive - or may already have received - a welcome email from your Program Manager, who will be your main point of contact throughout the program.

    Formal acceptance letter

    Your formal acceptance letter is attached to the welcome email.

    Please provide your Program Manager with the correct invoicing details.

    Accommodation

    For participants traveling to Stockholm, SSE recommends a number of hotels located close to campus. Discounted rates are available for SSE participants. You can find the list of recommended hotels and discount codes here.


    Visas

    Some program modules will take place outside Sweden. These modules may require additional visas or permits depending on the destination and the participant’s nationality. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to determine what documentation is required and, where necessary, apply for and obtain the appropriate permits or visas.

  • Introduction

    Program start

    The SSE Nordic Defense MBA begins on Monday, October 19, 2026. Coffee, tea, and sandwiches will be served from 08:00, and the program starts at 08:30.

    During the first days of the program, you will be introduced to the academic structure of the MBA and begin building the foundation for your learning environment and cohort experience. You will meet fellow participants, your Cohort Director, and your Program Manager. Members of the admissions team will also be present during the first day.

    Please note that evening activities could be planned throughout the week, and several days might end late in the evening. We therefore recommend reserving the entire week — including evenings — for the program.

    Physical attendance during campus weeks is mandatory.


    Program schedule

    You can find the scheduled dates for the SSE Nordic Defenser MBA 2026 here. Campus weeks begin on Monday at 08:30 and conclude on Friday at 17:00.

  • Your life after your studies at SSE

    At SSE, we aim to build connections that will last a lifetime. We engage our alumni in the life of the School as valued supporters, advocates, and lifelong learners who contribute to and benefit from connections.

    As alum you will be part of the SSE alumni network, the SSE MBA network, and of course the network from your cohort. You will receive the school’s newsletter, invitations to webinars and other events, and can be part of SSE’s Linkedin alumni group. As alum, you are also welcome to apply for support from the SSE Business Lab, our successful incubator, should you embark on an entrepreneurial adventure.

    If you want to give back, you can join SSE’s MSc Mentorship Program and become a mentor for one of our ambitious Master students, as well as take part in the SSE MBA’s different information sessions and witness about your experience with us.
