Specializations: Corporate Finance and Investment Management
In the Master program in Finance, you choose between two specializations: Investment Management and Corporate Finance. Within your chosen specialization, you are required to complete at least three courses from the list of core electives. An overview of these courses can be found on this page.
Specialization: Corporate Finance
The specialization in Corporate Finance provides you with the analytical tools needed to evaluate corporate decisions, value companies, and understand how financial markets influence business strategy. Key topics include valuation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, restructuring, private equity, and financial institutions.
The specialization prepares you for careers in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, and financial advisory. Through a combination of academic rigor, case-based learning, and interaction with practitioners, you develop the skills needed to succeed in a wide range of finance-related roles.
Specialization: Investment Management
The specialization in Investment Management provides you with the analytical and practical skills needed to understand financial markets, evaluate investments, and manage portfolios. Key topics include asset pricing, portfolio management, security analysis, asset allocation, quantitative investment methods, and financial regulation.
The specialization prepares you for careers in asset management, investment analysis, securities trading, financial advisory, and related areas within the finance industry. Through a combination of academic rigor, hands-on applications, case-based learning, and interaction with industry practitioners, you develop the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving global investment landscape.
