Preparatory courses
Before the program starts, you are invited to online preparatory courses in Python programming and accounting. These sessions refresh key concepts and help ensure a strong starting point.
MFIN Immersion Week
The program opens with a week-long immersion combining academic sessions, company interactions, and career-focused activities. You work on cases, meet industry representatives and alumni, and build connections with your cohort.
Finance Fair
SSE’s annual two-day Finance Fair brings together employers from across the finance sector. The event offers direct access to recruiters and serves as a key platform for networking and career exploration.
Company lunches
Throughout the year, small-scale company lunches provide opportunities to meet professionals in an informal setting, discuss career paths, and gain insights into the industry.
Women in Finance
Organized by SASSE, this event highlights female leadership in finance through talks, panels, and networking sessions with executives and alumni.
Global Mixer
The Global Mixer connects students across programs in an informal setting, supporting international exchange and peer networking.
Professional PathFinder Program
You receive individual career coaching throughout the program, including support with CVs, applications, interviews, and career strategy.
Mock interviews
Mock interviews with alumni give you hands-on practice and detailed feedback to prepare for recruitment processes.
CaseCoach
Access to the CaseCoach platform allows you to practice case interviews and develop analytical and communication skills.
Career support at SSE
SSE’s Career Management team provides ongoing support, including access to job postings, career tools, and guidance from an internship coordinator.
MFIN Business Project
You can complete an eight-week Business Project Internship (15 ECTS), applying your knowledge in practice. The project may be combined with a reduced Master’s thesis (15 ECTS).
