Vacancy: Facilities Director to the Stockholm School of Economics
As Facilities Director, you work closely with the organization, combining strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership. You lead the maintenance, management and development of SSE’s properties and, together with your team, ensure that the facilities are fit for purpose, sustainable and well maintained to meet the organization's needs.
SSE's campus is home to around 2,000 students and more than 300 employees, as well as researchers, tenants and visitors. Teaching, research, events and student life bring the buildings to life throughout the day and evening.
As Facilities Director, you will lead a team of seven and oversee the strategic and day-to-day work of Facilities. You will guide the long-term management and development of our properties, lead projects, and work closely with the academic community and external specialists. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational work, alongside responsibility for budgets, safety, tenant relations and SSE Housing.
We are looking for an experienced property-sector leader with broad experience in both property management and projects, strong financial skills, and excellent Swedish and English.
