Elin Torstensson appointed CEO of SSE Business Lab and SSE Ventures
The Stockholm School of Economics has appointed Elin Torstensson as CEO of SSE Business Lab, the School’s startup incubator, and SSE Ventures, its venture capital fund. She will join the organization as CEO on September 23.
SSE Business Lab is one of Europe’s leading startup incubators and has supported more than 300 entrepreneur-led companies since its launch in 2001. Together, SSE Business Lab and SSE Ventures are a key part of the Stockholm School of Economics’ commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact.
Elin Torstensson brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and international business development. Most recently, she served as an investor at Zenith Ventures and Inception Fund, where she focused on investments in early-stage Nordic technology companies.
Previously, she held several leadership positions at Storytel, leading market expansion and serving as Regional Director for Asia-Pacific. She also worked with fast-growing startups across Europe and Asia. Elin is an alum of the Stockholm School of Economics.
