Sustainable Finance Lab receives CFA Society Sweden ESG Award 2025
The Sustainable Finance Lab (SFL), a research collaboration involving the Stockholm School of Economics and other leading Swedish institutions, has received CFA Society Sweden’s ESG Award 2025.
The award recognizes outstanding contributions to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into the investment industry. CFA Society Sweden has named the Sustainable Finance Lab the recipient of its ESG Award 2025.
The Sustainable Finance Lab is a research consortium that brings together researchers from the Stockholm School of Economics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University, the University of Gothenburg, and Luleå University of Technology. The consortium was established to advance sustainable finance through scientific research that strengthens practice and supports the transition to a more sustainable society.
The award recognizes SFL's world-class research and its ability to translate academic insights into practical tools and solutions for the financial sector. Through collaboration between researchers and industry stakeholders, SFL has contributed to advancing the understanding and implementation of sustainable finance.
The award highlights the value of evidence-based research in addressing complex sustainability challenges and reflects the Stockholm School of Economics' commitment to generating knowledge that drives responsible change in business and society.
