Happy Hour Research Seminar - The Thrill of Togetherness, First Findings From the Liseberg Happiness Lab

What happens when we share an intense experience in the real world?

At our next Happy Hour Research Seminar, we explore happiness and human connection through an unusual research setting: a roller-coaster ride.

Join Micael Dahlen and Daniel Berglind as they present:

The Thrill of Togetherness: First findings from the Liseberg Happiness Lab.

In the lab’s first study, researchers followed people before, during and after a roller-coaster ride, measuring happiness, social connection and physiological responses in real time.

The seminar asks what a few exhilarating minutes can teach us about joy, human connection and our need to experience things together — questions that invite us to reflect on the role of shared experiences in an increasingly digital everyday life.

The Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness (CWWH) at the Stockholm School of Economics welcomes everyone with an interest in the research.
