Adrian Wooldridge to discuss the crisis of liberalism at CSSC

On September 28, British historian, writer, and columnist Adrian Wooldridge will join the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication (CSSC) for a conversation about the crisis facing liberalism and the future of the political center.

Liberalism is facing renewed challenges from both the left and the right. Populism, identity politics, and authoritarian tendencies are gaining ground, raising questions about the ideas and institutions that have shaped liberal democracies.

Drawing on his new book, Centrists of the World Unite! (Swedish title: Den revolutionära mitten), Wooldridge will discuss how liberalism reached its current position and what could be done to rebuild the political center. The conversation will be moderated by Rikard Westerberg, Director of CSSC.
