International doctoral students have increased in proportion and are coming to Sweden from over 100 different countries. SSE has seen the largest increase in the proportion of international doctoral students. Between 2008 and 2018, the number has more than doubled, going from 25 to 53 percent. This according to a new report from Stockholms Akademiska Forum (Staf).

The jury's in and we're proud to remain one of the top tier business schools in the world, according to the Financial Times Master in Management ranking. SSE comes in at number 13 in the world and number 1 in the Nordics out of 100 ranked schools and a total of 111 programs competing.

Thanks to this year's Nobel Laureates in the field of economics, we stand a better chance of fighting global poverty than ever before. "Their research on poverty has completely transformed the field," says SSE professor Per Strömberg, who was part of the prize committee.
