A new collaboration between the Center for Philosophies of Markets at the Stockholm School of Economics and Kulturhuset Stadsteatern invites the public to explore research and societal debates through conversation, food and culture. The goal is simple: strengthen democratic dialogue and make research accessible to all.

SSE Business Lab climbs from eighth to seventh place in the Financial Times’ ranking of 180 European startup hubs, remaining the only Nordic hub in the top ten. SSE´s former President, Professor Per-Jonas Eliaeson, passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 91, mourned by his wife, children and grandchildren. Per-Jonas was President of SSE between 1970 and 1986.
