Professor Alexander Ljungqvist has been awarded the prestigious Advanced Grant by the European Research Council (ERC) as part of its flagship Horizon Europe program. He is the first researcher at SSE to receive the grant.

57% of young professionals feel comfortable or very confident about the increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in various aspects of daily life, while only 15% reported feeling unsettled or scared about the prospect. This according to new research from CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education of which the Stockholm School of Economics is a member and currently holds the presidency.

Magnus Tyreman is the new Chair of the Board of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) from January 1, 2024. Tyreman succeeds Laurent Leksell, who ended his meritorious six-year term as the Chair of the Board of SSE at year-end.

The Wallenberg Scholars program aims to provide leading researchers in Sweden with grants for free basic research in areas of their own choosing. Three SSE professors are recipients of funding from the KAW Foundation.
