MIB Professional Pathfinder Track

The MIB Professional Pathfinder Track is a year-long development process that begins with the MIB Career Day. It supports your personal and professional development throughout your studies at SSE. Completion of the mandatory elements is required for the MIB degree. The track consists of two parts: the Outer Path and the Inner Path.

Outer Path

The Outer Path provides practical tools and resources to support internships and career opportunities during and after your studies. It consists of three modules: career clinics, company visits, and a sustainability panel.

Career clinics

Through workshops and online resources, you receive guidance on developing application documents such as CVs and cover letters. You also prepare for key career situations, including networking, interviews, and salary negotiations.

Company visits

Each semester, you may participate in company visits to gain insight into different organizations. Attendance at a minimum of one visit per semester is mandatory.

Sustainability panel

Once per semester, companies are invited to participate in a panel discussion on sustainability. Participation is mandatory.

Inner Path

The Inner Path supports your personal development and reflection throughout the program. Learning is based on your experiences from teamwork in the academic program. The Inner Path consists of two modules: Group coaching sessions and inspirational sessions.

Group coaching sessions

This module includes four mandatory group sessions during the first year, designed to support learning within established teams. You may also sign up for individual coaching sessions.

Inspirational sessions

Once per semester, you take part in interactive sessions designed to support reflection and personal development.
