We are pleased to welcome Tommy Adamsson as the evening’s speaker. An SSE alum from 1964, Tommy has had a distinguished career as an entrepreneur and business leader. He has long supported entrepreneurship, education, and future generations of leaders through Stockholms Grosshandelssocietet and the broader business community. During the evening, Tommy will share reflections on his career and experiences, followed by informal networking and refreshments.

Tommy Adamsson
Tommy Adamsson is one of Sweden’s most experienced business leaders, with a career spanning entrepreneurship, retail, corporate governance, and civic engagement.
As owner and CEO of Polarn O. Pyret, he transformed a Swedish retailer into an internationally recognized premium children's clothing brand, developing deep expertise in brand building, retail operations, franchising, and international expansion. Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements, Tommy has held numerous board and leadership positions across the private and nonprofit sectors, including Sveriges Radio, Svenska Franchise Föreningen, and Styrelseakademien Stockholm.
For 34 years, including two decades as Chair, Tommy was a central figure in Stockholms Grosshandelssocietet, and he remains a prominent voice within Stockholms Borgerskap, working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, capital, and societal development.
Drawing on decades of experience as a business leader and entrepreneur, Tommy brings a perspective shaped by building organizations, empowering people, and contributing to the Swedish business community.
