All Flesh Is Grass, 2009, is Denise Grünstein’s first video work and came to be si- multaneously with the photographic series Figure Out. The poetic and moving imagery that characterize Grünstein’s artistic career are here complemented with an ungarnished expression, a rawness that is apparent from both the video work and the picture series. The form in her dreamlike staged scenarios conceals itself in hair in an enigmatic and elusive manner.
