Thesis scholarship: Female artists in the art market
A Firestorm Foundation scholarship supporting SSE Master’s theses on the representation, value and visibility of female artists.
Firestorm Foundation offers a scholarship of SEK 50,000 to one or two SSE students conducting a Master’s thesis on the representation, value and visibility of female artists in society and the art market.
Research themes
- The status and progress of women artists in the global art market.
- Women artists from and within the Nordic region.
- Representation, value and visibility relative to male artists in Nordic and European art markets.
Proposals are reviewed by representatives from Firestorm Foundation, SSE Art Initiative and the Center for Art and Innovation.
