The Lindgren Room

In October 2019 we inaugurated the newly renovated classroom 342, now renamed the Lindgren Room in honor of beloved teacher Ragnar Lindgren. Alongside teaching and mentoring students, he served a critical role in the formation of the Finance Department at SSE during the 1990’s. SSE alumni Lars Bane and Johan Thorell financially supported the renovation of the classroom which is designed to supports flexible and agile learning, together with the latest technology. The artworks of Norberg and Sundén are now permanently installed in the Lindgren Room. Inspired by pedagogical philosophies by pioneers such as Renate Müller, John Dewey, and Marion Richardson, they offer alternative views on and ways of learning through play, action, and image making.
