Fredrik Lange is Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Center for Retailing, Stockholm School of Economics and the Program Director of the Retail Management Program. His research interests lie in omnichannel retail and marketing communications.
In this talk, he will share his insights from an investigation into the phenomenon of “Shrinkflation”, where the price level of units increases through a reduction in volume, weight, or size. Fredrik conducted this research for Konkurrensverket to understand the extent and nature of shrinkflation in the Swedish Retail Industry.

Jonas Colliander is Associate Professor of Marketing at the Center for Retailing, Stockholm School of Economics and the Director of the CFR Research School in Retailing. His research focuses on people's responses to digital communication, especially in social media.
In recent years, geopolitical turmoil has created uncertainty across the globe, reshaping consumer behavior. These shifts have had widespread implications for retailers. To navigate this evolving landscape, it is crucial to understand how consumers are adapting and what drives their decisions under uncertainty. In this seminar, Jonas will present recent research on this changing consumer landscape.
