Therese Alshammar is one of Sweden’s greatest swimmers of all time and one of the most decorated swimmers in the world. She showed exceptional talent at a young age, and her strengths lay in the shorter distances. She is the oldest swimmer ever to win a World Championship gold medal, and during her long career, she won more than 70 international championship medals, including three Olympic medals and 25 World Championship medals. She has also set multiple world records. Alongside her swimming career, she is an entrepreneur who has co-founded a company specializing in eco-friendly cleaning supplies, works as a freelance lecturer, and invests in sports-related businesses.
