Per Karlsson

Since 2020, Per “Pertan” Karlsson has played more matches than anyone else in AIK history. He is one of the club’s “gold heroes” and has helped the team win two Swedish Championship titles as well as Svenska Cupen and Svenska Supercupen. He was named best defender in the Allsvenskan and played for the Swedish national team twice. Since retiring from soccer in 2022, he has started the AIK alumni network and published his biography, Världens bästa Karlsson, which he uses when lecturing about leadership and performance to Swedish business and sports organizations.
