At age 14, Erika Grahm began playing ice hockey for MoDo, and only five years later, she was named team captain. Eight years later, she continued her career and her role as captain for Brynäs. Although she ended her professional playing career in 2021, she remains the fourth-highest goal scorer in the SDHL, the first woman to be included in the international hockey database Elite Prospects, and a two-time Olympian. She remained active in ice hockey through her roles as Sports Manager and head coach of the women’s team at Brynäs IF. She has also started several projects at MoDo and Brynäs aimed at attracting and retaining young women in ice hockey.
