Anna Laurell Nash combines the rare achievements of being a world champion in boxing and a Doctor of Chemistry. During her almost 20-year boxing career, she won two World Championship gold medals and three European Championship gold medals. Alongside boxing, she pursued her PhD at the Royal Institute of Technology, where she wrote her dissertation, Development and Studies of the Processes Involved in Minor Enantiomer Recycling, and ran her own business as an inspirational lecturer. In 2005, she was the first woman to win the Swedish Boxer of the Year award. She is now back in academia and entrepreneurship and is currently Executive Director of the Center for Sports and Business at the Stockholm School of Economics.
