Helena Ekholm

Helena Ekholm is a former biathlon athlete who had great success in the World Cup. She won two individual World Cup gold medals, three World Cup bronze medals, and three mixed relay medals. She also won the overall World Cup in 2008/2009 and was awarded the Jerring Award, the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal, and Sportswoman of the Year at Idrottsgalan in 2010. In addition to an impressive athletic background, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a university degree in law. She ended her sports career in 2012 and went on to work at PwC from 2012 to 2016 and as a board member of the Swedish Biathlon Union from 2013 to 2018. She now runs her own personal training company and training studio while also working as an expert commentator for SVT.
