Mattias Weinhandl is a former ice hockey player who was drafted 78th overall by the New York Islanders at age 19. He began his professional career with Modo in the Swedish Elite League before joining the Islanders in 2002. During his career, he moved between the Swedish league and the NHL. His achievements include three SHL silver medals, two Spengler Cup wins, and three World Championship bronze medals. After his athletic career, he has worked as an investor and entrepreneur.
