Danjiela Rundqvist began her ice hockey career at age 13 and built an impressive record of achievements. She won three Swedish Championships and five European Women’s Champions Cup titles with AIK. With the Swedish national team, she won Olympic silver in 2006 and bronze in 2002, as well as two World Championship bronze medals. She also played internationally in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League and in Russia, where she won both national and European titles. After retiring in 2015, she helped build Djurgården’s women’s team, which won the Swedish Championship in 2016–2017. In 2015, she also won the TV competition Mästarnas Mästare.
