Accenture had a theme lecture focusing on Amazon in Sweden
The lecture was held by Nathan Martis, Digital Transformation consultant from Accenture. His presentation was centred around the challenges retailers will face as Amazon expands into Sweden and the Nordics. Key topics included Amazon’s multiple categories and the specific threats they pose to different categories of Swedish retail. He also discussed actual and possible approaches the retailers can take to stay competitive as Amazon enters the market. Finally, he discussed the importance of digital transformation in these approaches, and gave some examples of successful transformations in overseas firms.
