Research in Accounting
You start with the Accounting! The most detailed and updated description of company operations and thefinancial situation that normally exists.
Accounting is a broad area and our relatively large faculty covers research in a wide range of topics. Even though company and business related questions are always at heart of our research, studies include everything from capital market reactions to pure managerial issues. We adopt both positive and normative approaches. Our research is likely to be helpful for situations such as capital market investment decisions; accounting standard setting; financial reporting practices; and managerial decisions for operating and controlling the multitude of activities that characterizes a modern organization. There are regular seminars and work-shops with invited guests and a Ph.D. program that ensures ongoing development of the department.
