SSE ALUMNI CLUB

SSE Alumni Club (formal name Kamratföreningen vid Handelshögskolan i Stockholm) was founded in 1982 to safeguard common interests among graduates at the Stockholm School of Economics. The association has over the years offered a great variety of activities 8-10 times a year with the aim of bringing the alumni closer together.

As of June 2019, the Stockholm School of Economics' alumni department will take over the responsibility for implementing alumni activities in Stockholm.

SSE has in recent years expanded its alumni activities and today offers, among other things, Homecoming, reunions, international alumni events and a monthly newsletter. The school will increase the number of events in Stockholm in the future, with the goal of offering the same diversity and quality of events as the SSE Alumni Club has done over the years. The SSE Alumni Club (Kamratföreningen) has unanimously decided to make this change possible at two annual meetings, the most recent meeting having taken place on June 19, 2019.

The SSE Alumni Club (Kamratföreningen) will remain as an association but work under new additional bylaws. These outline that a board of 3-5 people is responsible for the management of the remaining capital and is available as advisors to SSE regarding alumni activities. Annual meetings will still be held where the main points will be the election of the board and the decision on the payment of funds to SSE in order to support activities for alumni.

Members of SSE Alumni Club are those who were registered as members as of June 19, 2019. No new members will be accepted.
