Alum of the Year Award 2018
The Stockholm School of Economics awarded the Alum of the Year Award for the first time in 2018. The award went to Helena Saxon, who graduated from the School in 1995 and is now CFO of Investor.
Helena Saxon completed her Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration at the Stockholm School of Economics in 1995. She has worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, an investment manager at Investor, and CFO of Halvarsson & Halvarsson. Today, Helena Saxon is CFO of Investor, which contributes to the Jacob and Marcus Wallenberg Chair in Innovative and Sustainable Business Development at the Stockholm School of Economics. She also serves on the boards of SEB and Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Sobi).
“Helena is a great role model and is always prepared to support the Stockholm School of Economics. She is a member of the advisory board for our Master program in Accounting and Financial Management. Helena is also a member of the Corporate Partners Advisory Board and a donor to the Arts Initiative at the School,” says Jessica O’Mary, head of Development and Alumni Relations.
The award was presented at Homecoming, the annual alumni event, on March 9, 2018.
The Alum of the Year Award is presented to an SSE alum who has achieved professional success, contributed to society, and supported the School.
