Academic Insights seminar: Urban preparedness in the Baltic Sea region - what people fear and how unprepared we are
2025-12-10, 08:00 - 09:00
Welcome to the Center for Security and Resilience at the Stockholm School of Economics for an Academic Insights seminar on urban preparedness in the Baltic Sea region. Despite increasing awareness of climate change, energy insecurity, and geopolitical tensions, new research shows that urban residents in Northern Europe remain surprisingly unprepared. This session explores what people fear most, and why awareness so rarely leads to action.
Please note that breakfast will be served from 07:30.
