Private Labels at Coop

The students in Coop retail club had a workshop about private labels.

Fredrik Zenk, Director of Private Labels at Coop, led a workshop and a discussion on Coop's various private labels, with the features and priorities of each. Following that, an activity was conducted in which student groups developed a concept for Coop's affordable label, X:-tra, inspired by a country. The activity enabled students to explore the attributes of private labels, and inculcate relevant ones into their concepts. Concepts included Japan inspired interactive vending machines, and Italy themed product lines called ‘Tour of Italy’ and ‘Nonna’.
