On September 19 Marie-Louise Ekman, artist, playwright, director, author, former President of the Royal Academy of Arts and head of the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) will come to the school for an art talk. In the fall of 2023 she created Testamentet - The Marie-Louise Ekman room at SSE, and this fall she is the subject of two major solo exhibitions in Stockholm. As one of the Nordic region’s most influential contemporary artists, Klara Kristalova will represent Sweden in the Vennice Biennale in 2026. On Wednesday, May 21, we welcome her to SSE for an art talk where she will be reflecting on her journey, her creative process, and the experiences that have shaped her practice.
