The Nordic Happiness Summit (NHS) is an annual event alternating between Sweden and Finland. It is organized by the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness at the Stockholm School of Economics together with the Hanken School of Economics.

The summit convenes researchers, students, decision-makers, politicians and business leaders to discuss wellbeing at individual, organizational and societal levels. Central themes include Happy Progress, Happy Nordics, Happy Tech, Happy You, Happy Measurements, and Happy Organizations.

Among this year’s speakers are Micael Dahlen, Richard Layard, Paul Dolan, Elisabeth Svantesson, and Karin Wanngård, alongside leading international scholars and public health experts.

By fostering collaboration in some of the world’s highest-ranking countries for wellbeing, the summit aims to accelerate knowledge, policy development and organizational practices that strengthen both happiness and sustainable economic development.
