Misum Forum 2024

On October 4, join Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) for the 2024 edition of the annual Misum Forum, the flagship sustainability conference at the Stockholm School of Economics. Esteemed academic scholars and stakeholders will convene to discuss the complexities we are facing and pathways toward fostering sustainable markets amidst inevitable trade-offs.

Striking a balance: Navigating inevitable trade-offs for achieving sustainable markets

With sustainability at the forefront of global discussions, the Misum Forum 2024 will delve into the imperative of navigating trade-offs for achieving sustainable markets. Central to our discussions is an acknowledgment of the intricate challenges facing sustainable markets and the role of the financial system in addressing them.

Based on the research insights of our distinguished speakers from the strategy and finance disciplines, we will address the questions of: Are there inherent trade-offs between social or environmental impact and financial returns? What are the limits of the win-win mindset? What could be some principles for action in the face of trade-offs?

We invite you to join us as we convene scholars and stakeholders to discuss the complexities we are facing and pathways toward fostering sustainable markets amidst the inevitable trade-offs. Mingel reception from 17:00 to 18:00.
