Research on school turnaround presented at ResearchEd Scandinavia 2026
Last weekend, Center for Educational Leadership and Excellence (CELE)-affiliated researcher Ema Demir participated in ResearchEd Scandinavia 2026, a teacher-led conference bringing together educators, researchers, and policymakers to discuss how research can inform and improve educational practice.
Hosted by Haninge Municipality, the event focused on bridging the gap between research and the classroom. Ema presented her research on school turnaround strategies - how schools with persistently low academic performance can strengthen outcomes through targeted leadership and organizational change.
