  • Behavioral and consumer finance, with a focus on how individuals and institutional investors make decisions about savings, debt, and investments.
  • How emotions, biases and self-perception influence household financial decisions.
  • Specialist in financial literacy, including the gap between perceived and actual literacy and its impact on financial planning.

  • How households use financial markets (stocks, funds, bonds, other financial instruments) to achieve their goals.  
  • Welfare consequences of household financial mistakes, such as portfolio diversification and rebalancing, and the importance of sophistication in limiting financial losses.  
  • Wealth inequality, in particular of the role of savings, financial risk taking and returns to wealth.  
  • Impact of homeownership on household economic behavior and gender differences in the housing market.
